Mobile Fun, a British mobile-phone blog, has released images of that is thought to be the next-generation iPhone case. These images were apparently leaked from a Chinese case manufacturer.

These pictures suggest that major changes will be made to the iPhone. The device’s design is set to have a display screen that is roughly 4-inches and the return of the curved back from the iPhone 3Gs.

The pictures also reveal a hole on the back where the Apple logo is currently located on the iPhone 4. Some have speculated that this is a possible new location for the iPhone 5’s antenna, replacing the problematic side antenna of the iPhone 4.

However, MacRumours doesn’t seem quite convinced that this is how the new iPhone will appear.

"We suspect all of the images and information are coming from a common source, but we don't necessarily believe it to be true," wrote Arnold Kim of MacRumors. "We received a reliable tip that this is not what the iPhone 5 will look like. As well, several other credible news outlets have said that the iPhone 5 will look largely similar to the current iPhone 4."

Due to Apple’s strict confidentiality policy, we may not even know for sure until September.

The China Times has speculated that the iPhone 5 is set for release on the second week of September. It is thought that it will ship with an initial shipment of 4 million units. But all this secrecy seem to working to Apple’s benefit. In a recent survey of about 3,000 consumers, 35% have given a sure-fire guarantee that they will buy Apple’s next phone within the year even though they don’t know anything about it.
